All a bit blissed out after an evening at the opera in Canterbury - Marriage of Figaro at the Marlowe. Lovely, lovely, lovely! And later in the year Carmen and Nabucco to look forward to in September, yippee. And only just over half-an-hour away, so it counts as local. Normal service will be resumed shortly, I have occasional lapses into cultural nirvana.

Understand the feeling.
I went to see Nabucco at the Arena in Verona a few years ago and love the Italian way of stamping and shouting until they repeated the Hebrew Slave Chorus
Love the Salve Chorus, but never seen it on stage yet, so that's a treat to come for sure. Very jealous at seeing it in Verona...
Or Slave Chorus even. Salve Chorus must be from a soap opera...
