And Adem's good wishes clearly worked - my new job starts shortly (I'll let you know what it is when I get it in writing - still scared of those unhatched chickens...).
Woohoo! My first ever substantive post (ie permanent contract). And I'm 48. Temporary contracts suck (mostly).
